Galloway is a one of a kind. Ahmadinejad never said he wanted to wipe Israel from the map, he said he wanted to rid the world of Zionism. The difference being, that Israel is a country full of people and that Zionism is a political system.
Saying "I want to rid the world of capitalism" does not mean "I want to wipe the USA off the map".
How often the false interpretation has been repeated in the western press is worrying. You start to wonder if there is an agenda.
Btw, I'm not defending Iran's horrible humanitarian record. Just saying that the guy didn't threaten genocide but somehow that's what being reported all over the western hemisphere.

First there should be proper human rights when it comes to expatriates, then equality with the sexes with regards to rights, voting and opportunities, then we can worry about homosexuals.
But I agree that Zionism should take the way of the dodo.
Can you spare a minute or so?

The segment above occurs around the start of Part 2.
My biggest pet peeve in this regard is someone who makes a clear error in grammar, context, or quoting, who then says when corrected "Well this is how I use it and grammar evolves according to usage." Literal-mindedness combined with ignorance: the marketing victim mentality.
Before anyone goes congratulating Galloway's "insight", watch the clip of Ahminedjad's speech that pprt linked to. Ahminedjad's delivery of his line about wiping out Zionism is followed with a deafening course of "Death to Israel" from the crowd.
Ask yourself how an informed fellow like Galloway can honestly say Ahminedjad's quote is not about Israel when immediately after saying it he must pause and wait for the chanting of "Death to Israel" to die down?
We wouldn't support the US calling for the 'regime occupying Iran to vanish from the page of time,' so I think we should be careful not to support Iran doing so against Israel.
Step back from the brink; when countries go to war, everybody loses.
