One of my favorite stages from one of my favorite platformers ever, "What the Heck?" from Earthworm Jim.
The smoothness and style of the animation. The surreal settings and absurd sense of humor. The fluid controls. The opening music "Night on a Bare Mountain" which then inexplicably reverts to elevator music and the occasional ghastly scream, for the horror of it all. The above and more can pretty much sum up why popping this game in, every now and then, still gives me goosebumps.
