You'll notice that my videos lean towards videos on rights and abuse of power. I don't like it when power is abused because it makes it harder for the rest of us to do our jobs.
I love the mix of liberal and conservative views on the sift as it makes for good discourse. No I don't trust politicians, not a single one.
I like to write. If you haven't noticed in my comments, but I don't like to edit my writing. :P

All religion is bad. Any ideology that supresses rationality and open/free discourse is dangerous. So don't worry, I'm not picking on Islam. They are all a bunch of deluded psychotics.

Hi... i thought I would reply to an old comment of yours, take from it what you will.

What hath god wrought? - Common saying among the religious and non religious.

There have been incidents (wars) throughout history portrayed by all religions, what people would do in god's name.

So when you say that Islam is bad, you must take into account all of the deeds that every other religion has taken part in.

Buddhists in Taiwan, christian fundamentalists (theocons, crusades), Jewish and Palestinian, Palestinian and Jewish, protestants and Catholics in Ireland, and these are only the monotheistic religions.

I'm not a defender of Islam or any religion for that matter, but I am a defender against fundamental religion. So yes religious zealots (extremists, terrorists) are fucked up, it matters not what religion they are from. Only that Islam has gotten so much publicity over all of the other atrocities that have been committed in gods name.

Now I hate fear mongering propaganda as much as the next person but you gotta admit, Radical Islam is pretty fucked up, right? I mean, you do see how far off the deep-end some of these people are?

Calm down. I'm not accusing you of anything. good lord

In reply to this comment by NordlichReiter:
Do not accuse me of any thing.

If you are formally accusing me of something then out with it!

Other wise I will continue to support freedom of opinion, even if I don't agree with it.

In no way does my supporting free speech make me liable for some one's post.

Edit: And in no way does my position on this subject make me anti semitic.

>> ^swampgirl:
Nord, You don't have complete freedom of speech here, there are posting guidelines. If you don't like it, turn it off or find another forum.

What is it w/ some of you out there that think they can say whatever they feel like? You DID agree to play nice when you signed up did you not?

If you want freedom of speech around here then ask admins to remove the RULES.

Godamn, this is what I like to see.

Revolution is the Pod
Systems rattle from
When the Winds of Will are stirred
Excellent is Bloom

But except its Russet Base
Every Summer be
The Entomber of itself,
So of Liberty --

Left inactive on the Stalk
All its Purple fled
Revolution shakes it for
Test if it be dead. - Emily Dickinson

Actually, the Obama edits sound pretty benign, one being childishly petty (the Adam Goldfarb is a liar), the other mostly wanting to squelch an unsubstantiated slur (the Vanilla Ice quote). Neither seems like something the Obama campaign authorized (and if it was, not a terribly useful set of edits).

By contrast the McCain edits are flagrant attempts to rewrite history, and look like a coordinated campaign of intentional edits. The Xenophobia article seems to be trying to erase the idea that racism exists in America. Look at what was removed from the Liberty University article -- three paragraphs of fair critique with sourced articles supporting the claims.

I would've liked a full listing of what "other edits on articles that favor McCain which can be considered a conflict of interest."

To me, you've given a great example of false balance, trying to point the finger at both, when only one seems to really be guilty of anything.

In reply to this comment by NordlichReiter:
Wikinews article on MCCain and Obama camps malicious editing.

Obama and McCain camps childish games. Wikipedia is not impressed.
